The power of music and myth to unite and heal is needed more than ever.

The Songwriting Works™ approach is based on the understanding that:
All people are born intelligent, creative and musical.
Everyone has gifts to offer.
Whatever one’s age, culture, or life experience — people flourish
when they’re seen, heard and respected for who they really are.

Our professional facilitators are trained in 8 Principles of Creative Engagement:
• Access • Inclusion • Originality • Authenticity •
Respect • Reciprocity • Restoration • Celebration •

We collaborate across the continuum of physical, cognitive and emotional health.

Founded in 1990, Songwriting Works’ projects have engaged more than 3500 participants. They’ve co-composed 300++ songs with professional
songwriter-facilitators in 25 rural, urban and suburban regions of the U.S.
