Myth & Memory In Community

On Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 2pm, the Mythsinger Legacy Project (MLP) brings their internationally acclaimed Creation Myths event to Port Townsend at the Cotton Building, 607 Water St, in downtown Port Townsend, with live-streaming via Zoom. The venue is ADA accessible.

Tickets are offered on a pay-as-you-wish, pay-as-you-can basis (suggested $20-$50, no one turned away). Donations will benefit the on-going work of the Mythsinger Legacy Project, a fiscally-sponsored project of Songwriting Works Educational Foundation (501c3). Mythsinger Legacy Project is dedicated to restoring the wisdom of myth to culture and community and carrying forward the legacy of mythsinger Daniel Deardorff who lived, performed, and taught in the Port Townsend community from 1997 until his passing in 2019.

An online gathering like none other, we'll turn Zoom into a virtual hearth- space and huddle in to hear as master mythsinger/mythteller Daniel Deardorff (1952-2019) beams in from the archives, calls fire, sings about calling fire, and brings us into the heart of myth.
